Over the last two decades China has risen to become the second largest economy in the world. However, many argue that success has come at the expense of China’s citizens and the environment.

On Friday, May 17, the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) College of Business Administration will address these issues, as well as the future of China’s economy, as part of a free, unique conference that will feature experts from across the world, including Nobel Laureate Sir James A. Mirrlees.

The conference will be held at Mammel Hall, 6708 Pine St., on UNO’s Pacific Campus. It is free to attend and only requires an RSVP, which can be secured in any one of three ways:

-      Online at cba.unomaha.edu/CSG
-      Email Noelle Blood at nblood@unomaha.edu
-      Call 402.554.2303
